Memo light

Memo Light is an intervention in the landscape in the form of 13 derelict bumper cars that have been given a new lease on life by the artist. Arwa Al Neami has transported the bumper cars from Al-Salam Park in Abha to Salam Park in Riyadh, adorning them with neon and LED strip lights. The lights show the vehicles’ contours as well as the pole on the back of the car, which typically leads up to a wire grid in the fairground ride’s ceiling that would power the cars.
