Lost to find

Tobias Rehberger’s Lost to Find has been conceived in direct connection to Salam Park, as an ode to leisure time in a location that epitomizes it. Facing the reality of an ever-moving world where work and ultra-efficiency have become the goal towards which so many gravitate, Rehberger has created an artwork that celebrates another dimension of time. His bright and colorful neon signs, arranged on a black and white patterned wall, are incentives to viewers to take their time, to think about themselves and their surroundings. Set in a park, the contemporary city’s emblem of leisure and recreation, a new agora where it is possible to connect with each other, share, and sometimes forget oneself, Rehberger’s work is a door to another temporality where it becomes possible to postpone until tomorrow in order to do better.
