Ali Jabbar is Danish, born in Baghdad, and based in London contemporary multidisciplinary full-time artist with 40 years of experience in sculpting with marble, iron, stainless steel, bronze and many other materials either in his own studio or at international sculptural symposiums.
Jabbar has curated Jeddah and in 2005 the Dubai international stone sculpture symposium. His work has contributed to numerous biennales exhibitions and symposiums including: Beirut, Masqat, Turkey, Dubai, Manamah, Iran, Romania, Taiwan, China, Azerbaijan, Denmark and the Baghdad International Biennial, the Cairo Painting Biennial, the Tehran Painting Biennial, the Grand Palais Biennial in Paris, the Sharjah International Biennial and the X Florence international Biennale.
He has also participated in 85+ group exhibitions across the Middle East, Europe, and the USA and 11+ solo shows in Europe and the Middle East.
One of his monumental sculptures was installed at the sculpture park (2015) in Guangzhou, China, another piece will be installed in the faculty of aviation (2021) Sichuan, China.
