Expansion

Sylvain Patte’s Expansion (2023) seeks to contain emotion imbued with freedom and contrasts. The sculpture stands as a metaphor for balance and harmony between nature and the work of man. Playing with form and formlessness, the work exudes spontaneity that also reflects within the features of the chosen stone. The artist describes the work as “part of a movement of artistic form that seeks to rediscover the lost link with nature”.
