Elevation

In Elevation (2023), Mohamed Elsayad tries to find a new solution to the aesthetic relationship between the organic and geometric form, bypassing the traditional boundaries of taking sculpture in realistic forms and preserved themes. Through the rhythm of geometric shapes and the energy of organic shapes, various aesthetics appear more effectively, such as balance and vitality, and through diversity and repetition, the sculpture is formed. Al-Sayyad’s sculptures, balanced in their positive protrusions or negative voids, reveal the essence of life – the existence of contrasts and the crucible of harmony through lines and models to reveal the laws and systems of life.
