Block Cubes

Playing with color and modular forms, Yinka Ilori presents a skate-able obstacle course in the form of a sculptural park composed of skate ramps, partitions and blocks. By unifying skate, art and design, he aims to engage and uplift communities.

A novel aesthetic landmark in the city of Riyadh destined to be activated and used by both residents and international visitors, his colorful installation seeks to bring people together from multiple demographics and generations around skateboard, an Olympic sport followed globally by millions of enthusiasts and fans. Creating a space that is naturally inclusive and accessible to all, with his signature vibrant style, Yinka Ilori builds new places to connect, exchange and better live together as a community.
