The innovative product designs and ambitious architectural projects are instantly recognizable. From table lamps to outdoor seating arrangements, Paul Cocksedge has a way of transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary. Established in 2004 by London-born designer Paul Cocksedge (1978) and his business partner Joana Pinho, Paul Cocksedge Studio enjoys national and international acclaim for its imaginative designs incorporating form and function.
The key features of the Studio’s work are simplicity and uniquely people-centered designs. At times, their work appears to defy gravity, taking technology, materials and manufacturing processes to their very limits. Each work tells a story of its own, drawing inspiration from the physical process of production. Cocksedge works closely with his team of dedicated professionals, his clients and stakeholders to design products and architectural installations that are a joy to behold. Through his multidisciplinary practice, Cocksedge has collaborated with designers such as Issey Miyake and Ingo Maurer, as well as with brands such as BMW, Flos, Hermès, Sony and Swarovski
Cocksedge gained his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Sheffield Hallam University in 1997 and followed this up with a Master of Arts in Product Design from the Royal College of Art in London in 2002.
