Nasser Al Turki’s Growth (2022) reflects on the journey of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through energy, from oil exploration and oil wells to reliance on them as a source of economic and technological transformation, and its current search for myriad energy sources and renewable energy solutions to fulfill the 2030 vision for sustainable development. Growth tells the story of this never-ending ambition through a multi-faceted luminous spiral of movement. Inspired by the tower of an oil well drilling rig, Growth is also a symbol of the spiral drilling tool for heat pumps linked to the earth’s geothermal energy.

Because geothermal fields contain a large stock of thermal energy that may be utilized to power electric turbines, including solar ones, they are now a viable source of energy to profit from using existing technical capabilities.
