A conversation which highlights the ways in which artists use the audience as a tool, becoming vital, active participants in their works of art. Taking examples from interactive installations that form part of ‘From Spark to Spirit’ and beyond, the sessions will consider the role of the audience in the creation of an artwork and an exhibition and public program as a whole, how to capture people’s attention, how to inspire, how to be didactic and spread important messages about the world we live in.
