Mami Kataoka

Mami Kataoka is a leading curator and museum director shaping contemporary art in Asia and beyond. She currently serves as Director of Tokyo’s Mori Art Museum, the National Center for Art Research, and ICA Kyoto. As Artistic Director, she led the Aichi Triennale (2022), the 21st Biennale of Sydney (2018), and co-directed the 9th Gwangju Biennale (2012).

From 2020 to 2022, she was President of CIMAM after serving six years on its board.
