The Sun and the Moon

Aleksandre Phophkhadze’s The Sun and the Moon (2023) depicts the world in man and around him: sun and moon, light and darkness, contrast and similarity, white and black, inactivity and vibration, positive and negative. In this work, the artist seeks to represent a world where dual and opposing forces exist synthetically, maintaining balance, and in space, connected forms create a harmonious whole.
