The Spark

Jordi Raga’s sculpture emerges from the concept, Dimensions of Movement, in relation to expansion and innovation. He has developed methodologies that combine constructive and subtractive techniques, using a tandem of manual and digital technologies. The work intends to behave as a sundial during the summer solstice. Using 3D software Raga predicted a shadow that points from Riyadh to Mecca on the 21st of June, reflecting the importance of will and hope as a driving impulse of progress and evolution.
