The Movement

Petre Borissov Petrov’s The Movement explicitly refers to its own creation. Petrov associates the round shape of the sculpture with movement and understands it is a work in progress, with many elements in symbiosis and harmony. It has started and is continuing. The Movement presents the work in its final phase – not as a given, finished object, but rather a reflection of the time in which it was created. The value of the final result lies in the process and timeline of its creation.

Petrov’s monumental works have been on display in many countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Korea, Japan, Morocco, Australia, Argentina, and several European countries. Over the last 10 years, Petrov has exhibited widely in China, where he has won several prizes for his large-scale, thought-provoking sculptures.
