Periodicity

Anna Teresa Rasinska’s Periodicity explores dualities in many forms. A closed loop is a circle. The shape of a circle in space is a sphere. Life has duality because it is born in the macro universe but manifests itself in a physically defined form for the development and continuation of life.

The unmanifested New Life grows in the physical form, which can become independent only on the basis of a closed and previous form of existence. This idea is the main inspiration for this composition, created from perfect physical forms—spheres—and investigates the dynamic development of the process of birth of new forms across space and time.
