Mountains of the Mind

Juan Pablo Marturano’s Mountains of the Mind is inspired by the Argentinian Andes peaks, and combines the artist’s twin passions of mountaineering and stone carving. By integrating the mountain shapes along with geometric forms, he creates new rhythms that express the harmonious integration of human cities with the natural world.

For Marturano, mountains represent a rich metaphorical bridge between the Earth and the sky, like a beautiful path we need to pass through where the power of nature forge the human spirit, in order to lead us to pursue our dreams and, ultimately, to move forward in life.
