Moon V.2 (2022) is an audiovisual installation from creative studio NONOTAK. With their reputation for ethereal, immersive and dreamlike installations, it’s no surprise that this installation aims to challenge and disrupt the visitor.
Originally created as a site-specific piece for the Aranya Art Center in China, Moon V.2 features one simple but impactful experience. By taking a giant circle shaped light fixture on the floor, NONOTAK creates a disruptive and contemplative experience.
The ground is fundamental and natural as a point of reference for humans, both for our balance and spatial awareness. By transforming and controlling a significant part of the ground below the viewer, NONOTAK can alter visitors’ perception of the space around them and how they place themselves in relation to the world.
