A colored moon beyond human cognition could be its true color. We have seen the moon as colorless for a long time since black and white photographs is invented. This presumption remains unchanged even when color photography is developed to reproduce colors.

The artist observes the moon through camera equipped video glasses, capturing the moon in motion videos. The color of the moon is derived from a colored palette, while the artist sees everything in black and white during the process. The conscious knowledge of oneself and the derived form drawn by the same person is unknown to each other. The colored moon is becoming irrefutable.

Since black and white photographs were invented and NASA or space agencies share images, our perception of the moon has been that it is colourless. I believe that

perhaps the moon, beyond what we think, could actually be coloured. To make these paintings I wear digital glasses that convert all colours to different tones of

black and white. What I see, including the paint on the palette is black and white. Following and referencing an image of the moon, I paint what emerges to become

a multi-coloured moon, once I have removed the glasses. This different image of the moon is like a representation of the moon in another dimension.
