In Light, Together, 2025

In Light, Together (2025) is an interactive video installation that invites audiences into an immersive semicircle of five vertical screens accompanied by surround sound. Beginning in pure white, the screens remain empty until activated by human presence. Each visitor, standing before a screen, triggers a fragment of a vast visual and sonic landscape, including glaciers, waterfalls, forests, and microscopic plant worlds. The full sequence can only be experienced when five or more visitors collaborate, standing together before the screens, revealing the interdependence between collective action and ecological survival. The work functions as a living instrument of light, with images of nature captured by the artist in diverse locations, from primary forests in Costa Rica to high valleys in the Alps and waterfalls in Argentina, and of sound, using natural recordings from those same environments. Audiences experience the wonder of nature’s luminous diversity while being reminded of the shared responsibility to safeguard it.
