Illuminated Souls, 2024

05.10 Studio’s Illuminated Souls (2024) is an interactive installation that unites people through a shared experience, highlighting how interconnected we are. Inspired by quotes of Rumi, who often explored the connection between luminous celestial bodies and the soul, the newly commissioned artwork draws attention to our inner light by using stars as spiritual guides.

Visitors are invited to walk on a rug of lights, each fixture mirroring stars in the constellations above. This vista recalls the position of Orion, which points to the star Sirius in a direct line, their association symbolizing guidance. Similarly, the artwork uses sensors to create personalized light paths for every individual.

As multiple journeys overlap, the viewer is inspired to illuminate their own course in life, while feeling a sense of shared connection.
