Dance

Genti Tavanxhiu’s Dance is composed of a single block of granite and stands in a vertical position. Tensed surfaces, where light slides into the material in large planes, reveal a reading of colors and shapes. Through artistic intervention, together they appear in a state of grace.

Developed in three elements, the two geometric ovals communicate with each other as an organic form, in a perennial dance. The strong contrasts between the different faces that are created with the sunlight reveal angles in designs of a harmonious nature. The concept of Dance is presented through the simplicity of pure and clean form, in a coherent and contemporary artistic language.
