The Botanic (2022) installation, quite literary, brings life to the city’s architectural landscape by displaying impressive animations of flowers, leaves, twigs, and other plant organisms in a lively and immersive fashion. Contained in defined spaces with sharp edges, the flowers and plants manage to break their rigid confines by flowing freely, blown by a life-affirming but unseen force. The looping animations and eye-catching movements are amplified by the bright lights and colors, placing nature at the heart of the urban landscape.
