Body / Light (2025) positions the human form as both source and subject of illumination. Sensors capture each visitor’s outline and translate it into beams that shimmer through a mist field, composing momentary sculptures of radiance. Random International and Addie Wagenknecht collaborate to question visibility in an age of constant exposure: who sees, who is seen, and how light defines intimacy. The installation is alive; it breathes through the movements of its audience, dissolving individuality into shared glow. It unites technological empathy with poetic restraint, an interactive choreography where the act of seeing becomes creation itself. Every presence leaves a luminous echo, proof that perception is a collaboration between viewer and light. The collaborative artwork engages viewers in a space of magic, transforming perceptions and movements into a shared vision.
