Yusef Alahmad (b. 1983) is a Saudi visual artist and graphic designer based in Washington, D.C. Influenced by his Arab heritage, Alahmad often merges digital media with traditional geometric patterns and iconography, producing animations, art prints, and skateboard deck designs with vibrant colors and typography. The artist bridges his Saudi childhood and current life in the US with a futuristic twist. His work is also informed by his education in graphic design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Alahmad’s artworks have gained international recognition at notable institutions. His recent group exhibitions include Inner Structures – Outer Rhythms, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg (2024), A Celebration of Contemporary Saudi Art and Culture, The Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C. (2018), and Epicenter X, Arab American National Museum, US (2017).
