Wafa Hamad Al Qunibit holds a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Metal Casting from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and a Master of Business Administration from Columbus University. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, symposiums, and artistic forums within Saudi Arabia and abroad, earning both local and international awards. Throughout her career, Wafa has delivered a wide range of training programs in sculpture and self-development, and has served as a juror for various art exhibitions and competitions. She is also a founding member of several artistic and cultural associations. Wafa’s current practice focuses on large-scale sculptural projects using natural materials extracted from the earth such as minerals and rocks to explore the relationship between the creator and the surrounding world, revealing connections that extend across multiple dimensions. She believes that art plays a vital role in elevating cultural awareness and enriching aesthetic appreciation across diverse communities. Her mission is to make art an integral part of daily life in the public realm, by creating sculptures that reflect the identity and culture of the community and contribute to the artistic, cultural, and touristic presence of the Kingdom.
