Shuster + Moseley (est. 2014) is a conceptual art studio based in London by British artists Claudia Moseley (b. 1984) and Edward Shuster (b. 1986), whose practice utilizes glass interfaces to mediate light, reflecting on the nature of consciousness in relation to embodiment and technological mediation.

The duo creates ‘light-mobiles’, which are compositions of suspended lenses, and large-scale sculptural installations of prismatic, geometric ‘screens.’ Through collaborations with neuroscientists, cosmologists, optical physicists, and engineers, their work attempts an alchemy of light, using spectral refractions to create contemplative environments and evoke meditative experiences.

Moseley holds degrees in fine art and environmental anthropology, while Shuster holds a PhD in philosophy. Synthesizing their varied backgrounds, the artists bring their large-scale site-specific works to notable venues globally. Their recent group exhibitions include Lumiere Durham in 2023, Forever is Now at the Pyramids of Giza, Giza in 2021 and Biennale Light Art, Mantova, Italy in 2018.
