Nohlab is a Turkish studio which creates experiences with elements of art, design and technology. Founded in 2011 by Candaş Şişman and Deniz Kader, Nohlab is a truly multi-disciplinary studio.
Working with the latest technology, the studio delivers installations which incorporate 2D and 3D animation, digital projection and audio/ visual performances to engage and immerse the audience.
Whilst each piece is unique, there are some common ideas behind Nohlab’s work. They avoid imagery and directly expressing their intent, instead, relying on connection perception with experience to tell their stories within the audience. In doing so, they connect the digital and real world in a tangible way.
Ever changing and ever developing, the studio aims to innovate and push the boundaries with every work they complete. Finding new ways to wow and inspire their audience.
Nohlab has created and displayed works at many international events and festivals. From their native Turkey, across Europe and even as far afield as Japan. They’ve also worked with some of the biggest names in the world, including Chanel, Pink Floyd, Audi and Nike.
