Noha Alsharif (b. 1980) is Saudi sculptor living in Riyadh and works as a faculty member in Qassim University. She graduated from the Jeddah School of Fine Arts, then continued her studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, studying Asian, South Asian and Islamic Art and received her MPhil for her Islamic-inspired sculptures from Winchester University. She then went on to complete her PhD at the King Saud University. The artist creates work that is rooted in the spiritual, paying close respect to the sensibilities of religion and turning representation into abstract figures. She has exhibited in London, Shanghai, Vienna, Istanbul, Sharjah, Doha, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
