Koros Design Studio (est. 2016) is a Budapest-based artistic studio by Hungarian textile designer Réka Magyar (b. 1989) and design artist Péter Koros (b. 1978). Working with a multidisciplinary team, the artists experiment with inflated lightweight fabrics and digitally generated designs to create light experiences that transform public spaces. Through a playful combination of shape, light, and color, their artworks inspire contemplation on the beauty of nature and humanity’s connection to it, lifting the spirits of all those who encounter them.
The studio has showcased its public art in cities such as Rome, Paris, and Stockholm. Notably, their installations include Hidden Garden (2019) at i Light Singapore in 2024, Lilies (2019) at Vivid Sydney in 2023, and Bunch of Tulips (2016) at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of its outdoor light art festival, Kaleidoscope, in 2021.
