Hicham Berrada

Born in 1986 in Casablanca, Morocco, Hicham Berrada lives and works in Paris and Roubaix, France. Using a scientific approach, the work of Hicham Berrada combines intuition and knowledge, science and poetry. His work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou, Paris; the Palais de Tokyo, Paris; the Maubuisson Abbey; in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles; at the Mac Val, Vitry-sur-Seine; the macLyon; the CCCOD, Tours; the MRAC–Musée Régional d’art contemporain Languedoc Roussillon, Sérignan; the Fresnoy–Studio national des arts contemporains, Tourcoing; the ZKM, Karlsruhe; the Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt-am-Main; the MoMA PS1, New York; the ICAS–Institute of Contemporary Art, Singapore; the Moderna Museet, Stockholm and the Banco de la República, Bogota. Hicham Berrada was nominated for the 2020 Marcel Duchamp Prize.
