Noor Riyadh
Federico Acciardi (b. 1998) is an Italian artist based in Riyadh who combines multimedia installations with sculpture.
His deliberate use of old and new media reflects the destructive impact of humanity’s advancement on the natural world. By showcasing the coexistence of humans and nature, the artist guides viewers into moments of contemplation about the dissonance between our artificial instincts and the rest of the natural world.
Acciardi’s work is a social commentary, largely informed by his formal education in Visual and Multimedia Arts at Iuav University in Venice, Italy. His installations have garnered attention in Italy and Saudi Arabia; Acciardi recently participated in Perspectives Across Saudi Arabia, Misk Art Institute, Riyadh (2024), Unfolding the Embassy, Fenaa Alawwal, Riyadh (2024), Refracted Identities, Shared Futures, Noor Riyadh Exhibition, Riyadh (2023) and On Purpose, Athr Foundation, Diriyah (2023).
