Founded in 2021 by Abdullah Kenani (b. 1992, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) and Mohammed Alruways (b. 1996, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia). Live and work in Diriyah, Riyadh.
bytwo is a Diriyah-based design studio that focuses on Arabic typography, graphic design, and publishing, as well as producing visual art, exhibitions, and environments for digital experiences. Recent projects include the rebranding of Saudi Arabia’s Cultural Development Fund in 2022 and the Hot Cities Exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum in Germany in 2023.
The studio is led by the graphic designers Abdullah Kenani and Mohammed Alruways, who share a passion for their subject and a commitment to making a positive societal impact. bytwo also runs bytwo Publishers, which offers a diverse array of books, from exclusive VIP special editions to softcovers.
